John told us what his own dance teacher once said about the learning abilities of men and women - women can learn a step in three minutes, but it takes men three hours to learn the same step. Jackie Daly came to London in September 1998, along with Maura O'Keeffe, Cath Taylor and Mick Mulkerrin, for a weekend at St Cyprian's Club in Brockley. On Sunday afternoon Jackie played for a few of Mick's sean nós steps. Mick was so pleased when he finished that he bowed down before Jackie.
