This amazing confection is a birthday cake complete with eight edible set dancers made for Colin Butler, Co Roscommon, for his birthday in September, 1998. It was created by Marian Gill, a dancer and musician from London, with an amazing eye for detail. The figures represent Colin and his friends, all wearing their own clothes complete with designer logos! Marian's daughter Ciara brought the cake to Ireland, with some concern and amusement from airport security staff, who nevertheless wished Colin a very happy birthday.
