Ten years later the Fodhla Ceili Band made a return appearance at the Seapoint Ballroom in Salthill, Co Galway, March 1999, at the final Galway International Set Dancing Festival.

Farewell to Camden and Tooting - Dancers at Geoff Holland's Tuesday night class in Camden wished your correspondent goodbye with speeches and presents before departing to Kilfenora. Dancers in Tooting on Wednesday night celebrated with a table full of food and music by the dancers. Many thanks to all for the friendly farewells.
Martin Garrahy celebrated his fiftieth wedding anniversary by waltzing with his wife at Vaughan's Barn, Kilfenora, in May. Martin is the accomplished drummer with the Four Courts who plays in a traditional style perfectly suited to set dancing.
