The first set of the year 2000 in Vaughan's Barn, Kilfenora, was the Clare Lancers, danced just after midnight on the first of January.
The New Years Eve Millennium Ceili in Hackensack, New Jersey, was a great success. During the night they danced the Millennium Set, composed of figures from several sets.
