A wonderful weekend took place in Lannion on the north coast of Brittany on the 24th and 25th of June when dancers from the region came together to share a number of sets and ceili dances. The sun was with us, which gave us a chance to dance on an outdoor wooden stage at the Trébeurden port. People from Rennes, Nantes, Brest, Plougastel, and Lannion had a great time, each group introducing a dance for the others - the Plain, Caledonian, Lancers, Ballyvourney Reel, Labasheeda and a number of ceili dances were shared. This was also an opportunity to practise for the trip to Miltown Malbay where a group of about ten people from Brittany had a fabulous time on the coast of County Clare.
