Saturday, 5th July

8pm  Oscailt Official Opening by Pat Mitchell, piper and music researcher.
8.30pm  Breandán Breathnach Memorial Lecture: Na Piobairí Uilleann 1968-2008 by Terry Moylan, musician, archivist and writer. Community Hall, Miltown Malbay.
9.30pm-1am  Céilí with the Taylor's Cross at the Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds, Miltown Malbay, €8, €5 for registered students.
9.30pm-1am  Céilí with the Matt Cunningham Céilí Band at the Quilty Tavern, Quilty, €8, €5 for registered students.

Sunday, 6th July

10am  Aifreann I nGaeilige Mass in Irish at St Joseph's Church, Miltown Malbay.
3pm  Musical Tribute at Willie Clancy's grave, Ballard Cemetery, Ballard Road, Miltown Malbay (about half a mile out of Miltown). A moving tribute to the piper who inspired the Summer School, with music played by friends of the summer school.
9.30pm-1am  Céilí with the Templehouse Céilí Band at the Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds, Miltown Malbay, €8, €5 for registered students.

3-6pm  Céilí with the Brian Ború Céilí Band in the Mill Marquee, GAA Grounds, Miltown Malbay, €8, €5 for registered students.
8pm  Piping Recital. The recital will be a special tribute to the piper Johnny Doran (1908-1950). Na Píobairí Uilleann will select the pipers. Community Hall, Miltown Malbay, €10, free to registered students.

7-10.30pm  Ceol Choirm Mhor. Top Class Traditional Concert with Leading Traditional Artistes. The greatest assembly of Irish traditional musicians, singers and dancers to be found in one concert. Limited seating so buy your ticket as soon as you can. Community Hall, Miltown Malbay; tickets available from shops in Miltown Malbay.

These are the only céilithe run by the Willie Clancy Summer School. By supporting them you support the work of the school for traditional music, song and dance. Other céilithe in the area are private ventures which neither support nor have any connection with the work of the Willie Clancy Summer School.
